Background: Nessa was surrendered to the Rankin Inlet Fire Department. Nessa is a sweet, affectionate little dog who loves being close to her person. She is a true little shadow and is happiest curled up beside you, sitting with you, or sleeping nearby. Nessa is loving, people-oriented, and very affectionate. She forms strong bonds with her humans and loves attention and companionship. She may show some separation anxiety and bark when left alone. She can also be protective of her chosen person and has displayed some attention and food guarding behaviours. She is a very quick escape artist, so extra care is needed around doors and vehicles. Dog Friendly: Yes! Nessa has been living with four puppies and has been incredibly tolerant and patient with them. When she needs space, she appropriately communicates with a little growl.
