Our mission
Life can be complicated. Finding your new pet doesn't have to be.
Why we built this
British Columbia is home to so many remarkable rescues and shelters, each with an address of its own, and their animals live in just as many places. For someone ready to adopt, we've created a simple way to see all of the animals who are looking for a home right now.
We don't sell pets, and we never will. Our only job is the introduction.
What we stand for
Trust is the whole point.
Free for every rescue
Rescues and shelters never pay to be listed here.
Honest and fresh
Listings are updated regularly and reviewed by a real person before they go live.
Real, local, and yours
Every animal comes from a real BC rescue or shelter's own listings.
In the right hands
Each rescue sets its own process and makes every adoption decision.
Questions
Good to know.
Does it cost anything?
Searching here is always free. Each rescue sets its own adoption fee.
How do I adopt an animal I find here?
Tap the adopt button on the animal's page. It takes you to the rescue's own site, where you'll find how to apply, or to their phone number when that's how they adopt. You can also reach the rescue directly with the contact details on their page, when they share them. The rescue takes it from there.
How up to date are the listings?
Listings are updated every week. If an animal has an adoption pending or has been adopted, their page says so.
Which animals can I find here?
Dogs and cats from rescues and shelters across British Columbia, with more kinds of animals coming soon.
My rescue isn't listed. How do we join?
Add your rescue, and your animals can show up here. It's free.
Ready to meet them?
Your new best friend might be closer than you think.
