Background: She came into care after living on a reservation with another dog. Since arriving in foster care, she has been learning that people can be kind, predictable, and safe. She is making progress every day and is slowly building confidence in her new world. This sweet girl has so much love to give. She can be timid and cautious with new people, often preferring women at first, but she does warm up to men with patience and time. Once she feels comfortable, she loves being close to her people and enjoys pets and even being brushed. She loves treats and food and is learning that she never has to worry about where her next meal is coming from. She absolutely loves having a canine companion to play with. She enjoys a good play session and then happily heads off to her own space for some quiet time. She is still learning how to play with humans. She will chase toys but doesn't quite understand the concept of bringing them back yet! She can also be startled if something is thrown too…
