Background: Avalanche's puppies had a remarkable start to life. Their mom, Avalanche, came into care terrified, heavily pregnant, and unsure of people after a stressful rescue. With time, patience, and calm support, she slowly began to trust again. Before her planned transport to a whelper in BC, she surprised everyone by giving birth to nine healthy puppies. Once stable, the little family was moved to a foster/whelper in Edmonton, where the puppies have been raised in a safe, nurturing environment.
