Domestic Shorthair
Pope Francis, better known as Frankie, didn't start off with the best life. Born in an area with way too many cats, he could have just been part of the crowd but there was something special about him. His left ear is tipped, the sign that he was part of a Trap-Neuter-Return program. But his handsome face was just too much to resist so he was given a new start in a foster home. In foster, he started off with a buddy which helped him to realize that humans can be good. They bring food, warm beds and safety. He may still need to be reminded to move slowly by a teeny little hiss, but when they lay beside you offering toys and gentle pets, that's pretty special. He will be rewarded with a head butt or two and lots of purrs. Frankie is also practicing his biscuit making. Every day, several times a day and he's becoming quite the master. Toys may be a whole new experience but Frankie is willing to try them out; new ones start off a bit challenging but he is up for the challenge. Plastic…
