Domestic Shorthair · Adolescent
Cookie is best suited to an adult oriented home, or with older kids who understand boundaries as she learns to settle in. She would do best as an only cat. Cookie found herself living outside after her owner died and she survived on her own for quite some time. When she had kittens outside, KAAP were contacted and she and the kittens were brought into foster. From her foster parent: Cookie is a sweet, affectionate girl who just needs a little time to come out of her shell. She was quite timid when she first arrived and is still wary of strangers, preferring to find a safe hiding spot until she feels comfortable. Right now, I'm her favourite human! Cookie isn't a fan of being picked up, but she has a gentle nature and has shown no aggression. Once she feels safe with you, she loves nothing more than cuddling up on the couch and soaking up plenty of pats. She also enjoys playing with her toys and will occasionally surprise you with a case of the zoomies! Cookie would love a patient,…
